Previously, I created a post on how to apply eye-liner, a tool essential for a dramatic look. This post, however, focusses more on liquid gel liners, just as essential when going for the well-known 'cats eye' look.
What you need to do first is pull the skin above your eye upwards, this will ensure you get the gel liner as close to your lash line as possible.
Then you want to gently apply your gel liner to your lid use harsh/gentle strokes, depending on the look you wish to achieve. Ensure that you reach your inner eyelid as you do so. You also may want to apply the gel liner underneath your eyes.
Your eyes should look bigger and bolder, remember to always apply eye liner after your eye shadow, followed by a favourite mascara.

Quick Advice
Do not keep mascara for more than six months
Do not go to sleep with out thoroughly removing all make up
Do not draw on your eyebrows if you are uncertain how to do it properly, nothing is worse than having one brow higher/thicker than another
Do not over-apply blush, always look in a mirror and be gentle, look for wear your cheek protrudes most.
( Quick advice posts will appear often so look out for them!!)

How to apply eye-liner- For beginners
Eye-liner is absolutely essential for a dramatic look. So it is important that you know how apply it-the right way. I'm a mini make up guru-and this is wear your journey begins. How will it evolve? You wait and see...
So to start with, choose the colour of the eye-liner you want to apply, there are so many colours out there- blacks, browns even reds!! There are also gel liners and pencils. Choose whatever you like or whatever matches your outfit, jewellery included.
Once you have selected the colour and type of eye-liner you want to use, pull gently at the skin next to your eye-lid, so you can draw on it more accurately- you don't have to-but I recommend it!! Looking into a mirror can also help with precision, be slow and steady, you might find leaning on a work surface useful. Draw as close to you lash line as poss.
Smudging your eye-pencil will create a smoky-eyed, soft look. Again, you don't have to do this, especially if you are going for a more formal look.
Line the lower lids, if you have used a gel-liner, make sure you leave it to dry well.
Remember- to always apply mascara after you've applied your eye liner.
